What is your name and the name of your company? 

I'm Steven Stover. This is Stoever-Parker Electric.

What problems or challenges did you experience before working with ECS? 

We were using a friend-of-a-friend kind of IT service, who was, uh, just kind of on-call. We would put in a request, and it would take a week - sometimes two weeks. We weren't getting updates. The biggest reason we called you guys is our entire network got hijacked, and they wanted a bunch of bitcoins for us to get it back. We called y’all, and y’all were able to solve that problem.

What results do you get/have you received from using ECS's services? 

We have regular updates. We haven't had another viral infection like that. We haven't been hijacked again. When we do something as simple as buy a printer, you guys hook it up, and I bring that up because I personally don't like printers.

What was the main concern that would have prevented you from using ECS services? 

IT services, in general, were just a cost. Did my company really need it? Which, at the time, uh, computers weren't as pervasive throughout construction as they are now. You pretty much can't do construction without computers now.

What put your fears to rest? 

Well, y’all do a good job. You know, when we put in a service request, you respond. We did, so we had the previous IT company, and I don't know if you remember, but for about one year, I went to another company who offered slightly better pricing. And those guys didn't respond on time. When they did, they were somewhat incompetent. It took them several tries to do updates, things like that, on things like our accounting software, which is pretty important. So I had some concerns there as far as their reliability, their overall service. And, that's when we got back together as soon as that contract was up.

What exactly do you or did you like most about ECS's Services? 

I can pick up the phone. If I call you, I pick up the phone and call—I get an instant response, no matter how small the—I know that's not the agreement—(but) no matter how small the issue is, when I call, it gets handled. And if we call with an important issue, it is handled immediately. Our regular updates, like I said, are done as they're needed. And the number one thing, the accounting software, is always up to date and running fine.

Would you recommend ECS IT Support Services to a friend or colleague? If yes, why?

Absolutely, absolutely. And I do price things regularly. Other companies, like I said the one that I did switch to, was just slightly under y’all. But they promised the world; they didn’t deliver anything. So every now and then I do price, and there's no—it's pretty competitive. Your pricing is, if not even a little less, than some of your competitors, which I doubt would perform the same.

What would you tell someone who's considering our business but is not sure?

Try it. Just give you a shot. Like I said, I know the pricing is competitive, and I know your service has beaten any other IT solutions I’ve tried in the past.

Was there anything we could have done differently or can do to improve?

Well, you can always—you know, there's always room for improvement. But, uh, in my experience right now, I would say y’all are doing a good job. Just keep up the good work. And that's—that's about it. Go with ECS. Thank y’all. All right.

My name is David Medack, and I'm one of the founding shareholders of Heard and Medack PC, it's a law firm.

What problems or challenges did you experience before working with ECS? 

We started out as a very small law firm, three lawyers about 20 years ago, and as a result we didn't have much in the way of computer needs or technology needs and we had some friends who had some computer knowledge kind of help us get set up in the first place. But, as we grew over the years, our ability to resolve problems, and more importantly resolve problems in a timely fashion, became problematic the person we used for that need had a full-time job elsewhere and couldn't drop everything and come take care of our problems when they presented themselves.

What results do you get/have you received from using ECS's services? 

I think that the thing I like best about ECS and the time we've been working together is they've been very responsive to any one of my staff that have contacted them and set up a ticket, a job ticket. Every one of my attorneys and my support staff knows that  if something comes up, we're a litigation firm, so I may not be in the office every day  and my manager may not be in the office every day so it's important for the staff to know  that they can contact ECS directly and start addressing the problem rather than sitting there  and not being able to do their job because their computer is doing something unusual, or some kind  of technical problem has come up that they can't address and ECS has really been helpful with that.

What was the main concern that would have prevented you from using ECS services? 

My main concern initially was the cost.  Once again, we're a small law firm, so the cost of having a company like ECS on standby, if you will,  they're obviously not an in-house company
because we're not big enough for that but  they are very responsive so our concern was the cost of having a business like this that could  address our computer concerns as they came up, and after meeting with Peter Robert, I was confident  that they could one do that, and the pricing structure was acceptable to what we wanted to pay.

What exactly do you or did you like most about ECS's Services? 

Probably the thing I like most is the responsiveness.  Like I said, my staff can pick up the phone at any point during the day, and I think they've even done it over the weekends on occasion and made calls and got job tickets started.  And, one of the services that ECS provides is being able to link in remotely to any of our workstations so if we have an attorney up
here on the weekend trying to get something done getting ready for trial and his computer acting up he can get someone with ECS to remote access in fix the problem and let him get back to the job he's supposed to be doing.

Would you recommend ECS IT Support Services to a friend or colleague? If yes, why?

Yes, I would, and I have, in fact.

What would you tell someone who's considering our business but is not sure?

I would say, one look at the potential problems of not having a company like ECS to turn to for help because as a small business owner, we're a small business.  If my computers go down, and my servers go down, if any of our workstations go down, I have staff sitting around they can't do their job and when you have a business like ours and we're attorneys so we bill for our time if your attorneys aren't doing their jobs or your secretaries can't do their jobs, the cost of that is usually going to exceed the cost of having qualified businesses like ECS that
can step in and fix it for you.

Was there anything we could have done differently or can do to improve?

No, actually, ECS has been a big help in keeping  our office up and running and we recently moved from a location where we have been for 14 years  and ECS played a very large role in helping configure our new office space, making sure our computers were updated when some Microsoft changes took place, and helped us, quite frankly, configure the technical issues associated with our move so they weren't just helpful in the sense of fixing problems when we called with problems, they also helped us plan for our future space. Like I've said, I've just been real pleased with ECS's services and how responsive they are to my staff.

What results do you get/have you received from using ECS's services? 

Sure, ECS has been a great partner in our everyday business. As you know, they handle 100% of our IT and network systems, and they’re very responsive when we put in the different tickets into the system. We get an immediate response letting us know where we stand. We’re able to update that if we need to escalate it to a higher priority, and they’ve just been very responsive. I’ve really relied and leaned on them quite a bit, and I hope to continue to do that over the next year.

Would you recommend ECS IT Support Services to a friend or colleague? If yes, why?

I would—yeah, I mean, like I said, I’m always looking for...there are several companies out there like ECS from a standpoint of they provide network servicing, and the trick is to find one that (1) is very responsive and (2) treats you like a partner and helps your business continue just to run, so you have one less thing you have to worry about from the computer and network standpoint.

What would you tell someone who's considering our business but is not sure?

I would say, you know, working with you [Peter at ECS], personally—and just working with everybody on the team—it’s, like I said, they’re very responsive, and they continue to get the job done when asked. What I mean by that is they don’t just try to get it off their desk; they try to thoroughly work through it and make sure that you reach an ultimate satisfaction with the end result.
